Our Story

For more than 20 years, Persian cats have been part of our families. We know firsthand how special they are — and how much care they can require, from regular grooming and eye care to breed-specific health needs.

Like many cat lovers, we started by helping one cat, then another. Before long, we realized how many Persian and Exotic Shorthair cats in China were still waiting for help.

Some are abandoned because of medical needs or changing circumstances. Others are found neglected, sick, or struggling to survive outdoors. Because these breeds often require more specialized care, finding the right home for them can be especially difficult.

We founded 7Paws to support the dedicated rescuers already doing the hard work on the ground in China. Together, we help provide veterinary care, rehabilitation, foster support, and, whenever possible, the opportunity for these cats to come to the United States and find prepared, loving homes.

Our experience as longtime Persian owners shapes how we approach every placement. We understand that finding a home isn't enough — we want adopters to understand the grooming, health, and lifelong care these cats may need.

We know we can't save every cat. But for the cats we do reach, everything changes.
